New images have been released to show how the multi-million pound transformation of The Majestic in Leeds city centre will look.
With plans for a £500m redevelopment, Leeds Railway Station is at the centre of the city’s economy as a hub for national connectivity.
The building will be transformed to provide new office space, along with a close-up view of The Majestic’s external features.
The 66,000 sq ft of office space will be housed behind the original external envelope of the building, which first opened as a 2,400-seat cinema back in 1922. A new three-storey atrium will be created at the entrance to the building from City Square.
Work on the transformation of the Majestic – which was badly damaged by fire in 2014 – is expected to take about 18 months to complete.
