Two men have been arrested in connection with the deaths of a man and his daughter in a house fire.
Andrew Broadhead, 42, and his eight-year-old daughter, Kiera, died in the blaze at their home in Ash Crescent, Stanley, Wakefield, on Wednesday.
Two men aged 24 and 28, were arrested on Saturday evening on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.
West Yorkshire Police said the 24-year-old had been bailed and the 28-year-old remains in police custody.
Firefighters were called to the scene of the blaze at about 04:20AM on 19 October.
On Friday, Sara Broadhead said her husband was a “brave hero” and said he saved her life and rescued their eldest daughter before going back in the house.
“Andy was a brave hero who managed to save the lives of his wife and eldest daughter.
“Unfortunately he couldn’t save our youngest daughter Kiera and gave his own life trying to save hers.”
